This Privacy Policy explains what information ItemLogue collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. ItemLogue is operated by 31 North Horizon LLC. By using ItemLogue you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name or display name, email address, and the sign-in provider you choose.
- Content you add — receipts, photos, item details, costs, sales records, tags, and notes you enter or capture.
- Subscription information — your plan and entitlement status, received from the app store’s billing system. We never receive your full payment card details.
- Usage and device information — basic technical data such as app version, device type, time zone, and diagnostic logs, used to operate and improve the app.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide and maintain ItemLogue;
- store and sync your inventory and records across your devices;
- process receipt and haul-photo scans;
- send the notifications you enable, such as return-deadline reminders;
- manage subscriptions and scan-credit allowances; and
- keep the service secure and diagnose problems.
3. AI-assisted scanning
When you scan a receipt or haul photo, the image is sent to automated recognition providers to extract text and item details. Images are processed to provide that feature. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Service providers
ItemLogue relies on trusted providers to function, including:
- Cloud database and storage — to hold your account and content securely.
- Text and image recognition — to read receipts and photos.
- Subscription billing — the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Push notifications — to deliver the reminders you turn on.
These providers process data only as needed to provide their service.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your content is kept while your account is active. You can export your data as CSV at any time. When you delete your account, it is marked deleted, access ends immediately, and your data is then removed — retained only as long as needed for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
6. Your choices
- Export your data as CSV from the app.
- Turn notifications on or off in Settings.
- Delete your account in Settings.
- Contact us to ask what information we hold about you.
7. Security
Your records are stored on managed infrastructure and scoped to your account, so other users cannot read them. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Children
ItemLogue is not intended for anyone under 18, or the age of majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. By using ItemLogue you consent to that processing.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. Material changes will be notified in the app or by other reasonable means.
